 Over time and painting the rabbit I have discovered that my favorites are when he is other animals. It's so funny to me :) Any way after the first year it's hard not to fall back to traditional holiday symbols. This year he may begin to reflect more of life that season, but we will see.
I chose the rooster based on scripture. When reading about Peter hearing the rooster crow I tend the have vivid ideas of what he must have felt.
Now what to do for April....
